CCSSO President Atkinson Starts Campaigning Early

NC State Superintendent and President of the CCSSO Dr. June Atkinson recently spent time speaking to the Carteret County Democrat party. Atkinson assaulted the current legislature for teacher pay while conveniently leaving out the role both she and former Governor Perdue played in freezing teacher pay in the first place.

Despite having the highest graduation rate in the history of the state, North Carolina’s public education system needs support to survive the recent wave of changes enacted by the General Assembly, State Superintendent of Public Instruction June Atkinson said on Saturday to county Democrats. #MoralMondays: The SEIU Factor

This morning I was reviewing the arrest reports from the June 3rd meltdown and came across two out of towners in the arrest list. These two hail from NYC. Quite a long way away from home.

Interesting to note the out of town union factor:

Estela Vasquez — She’s from NYC, NY and employer is LABOR UNION. (Update: The Link to Wake Cty Sheriff report no longer works. Screenshot here.) Specifically the SEIU 1199. She’s tied to healthcare as the Executive Director of United Healthcare Workers East. Estela is a fan of Occupy:

Wake County Dems Attack Lt. Governor Forest on #CommonCore

How do ya like that new tone! Why do Democrats hate homeschoolers? Oh wait, silly me they hate Dan Forest, who cares if some kids get in the way of a good old fashioned political attack.

Not to mention sheer ignorance on the requirements of and what it means to be homeschooled. Common Core is an utter train wreck; those defending it are practicing protectionism of various forms or willfully are remaining ignorant.

#MeltDownMonday – Wake County Dems Praise Protests

This past Monday saw another round of arrests at “Moral Mondays” in front of the NCGA. The Left is very upset their decades of rule have come to an end. The voters of the state overwhelmingly voted them out, flipping over 28 seats to do it. That’s a pretty powerful statement about how people felt the Democrats were running things in North Carolina. With the repeal of Obamacare gaining more traction, the Democrats are panicking they will be shut out in 2014 too. Cue the protests about social issues and ‘regressive’ agendas. Continue reading →

I Am Your Worst Nightmare

Open Letter to America:

Call me a monster if you wish, I am quite large after all. Funny how when no one is paying attention to how appearances can change. Anyhow, thought I would drop you a note with just a taste of what I have done, what I can do, and what I may do. Keep it on the down low, but I gotta tell ya….I am your worst nightmare.

Here is my resume..

I can go after your beliefs, and your traditions. Nothing will be sacred to me. I will make you to “see it my way” because “it’s for you own good” oh, and if you don’t, I will attack you, belittle you, shame you. You are in the way.

You can speak out about me if you want, however, be careful, because I can hear everything you say. I am everywhere. Don’t think for a moment that my true believers wont root you out. Don’t speak against me.

If you dissent, or oppose me, (do you really want to go there?) I can send out my minions to degrade you, smear you, and discredit you . You will be considered the lowest of human beings. It is in my best interest that I do this. Then, if you continue to defy me, I may keep you from having any platform for you to speak on. You will have no way of getting out any of your views. I will make sure of that. I will take away your ability to learn anything of value. I can make your life a living hell. I will silence you.
