Haywood School Officials Show More Sense Than Obama Admin – #HB2

School officials in Haywood county have had some drama over Obama administration’s transgender edict for schools. Apparently there was a rumor of protests among the students over having open bathroom access.

The school and district’s response was excellent and lines up with what Title IX already accommodates for under 504 plans, which is separate facilities when needed or required. Continue reading →

On Wednesday evening, the News and Observer’s Ed blog dropped a story about a teacher at Hillside High in Durham. Go. Read. It.

The teacher’s name is Holly Jordan. I’ve actually written about this woman’s exploits before.

She apparently teachers English. She’s a full-blown social justice warrior wing-nut and it’s clear from the N& O article her mission is to indoctrinate as many kids as she can.

#WCPSS Policy Changes on Suspensions

As I mentioned last week along with ending the practice of naming a valedictorian and raising the price of meals, Wake County’s School board took aim at changing its suspension policies.

By the way, Rush Limbaugh had fun with the valedictorian bit on his show last week for those who missed it. I’m sure he’d have a field day with this suspension policy change.

NC Moms Fight Back Against Obama Bathroom Edict – #hb2 #TitleIX

The Obama administration has threatened North Carolina with withholding Title IX funds if the state does not allow biological males to be able to use showers and bathrooms legally designated for females under the state’s HB2 law.

These funds serve the poorest children in the state. This threat is disgusting.
