Voter Fraud IS Voter Suppression

Today’s article from WWNC’s Pete Kaliner rebutting Voter ID talking points from Democrats and the Left was a thing of beauty. In a nutshell: Succinct.

It would be hard to pick a favorite part, but this might be it:

CLAIM: “Ok, so there’s ONE case. But it’s not widespread.”

RESPONSE: We actually have no idea how widespread it is. The story I posted above is from October 2012. However, the attempted fraud occurred a year prior. Look how long it took to investigate and prosecute a case involving an elected official in a race decided by three votes. Simply put, resources are not devoted to investigating and prosecuting voter fraud. It’s hard to find what you’re not even looking for.

This is the same argument I made against WRAL and their use of Moral Monday arrestees as proof the crowds were made of in-state residents. We now know that clearly was not the case, but the argument is convenient and tidy. Continue reading →

Occupy 2.0: Chicago ALEC Protests Have Moral Monday Ties

In Chicago, a smaller ALEC protest at the Palmer House Hilton that took place on the 5th was ramped up into a full-on Occupy style event on the 8th. Both sets of protests ended with a handful of arrests, but the more recent event that took place on the 8th included scuffles with police.

These protests have ties to Raleigh’s Moral Monday and Democrat activists in the area. Continue reading →

Education spending is being slashed by the GOP in NC!!! Moral Monday and liberal media told me so! But..but…horrible video making fun of us! We’re mad!

Why? Because it’s a fine example exposing the ‘group think’ in these crowds? Because the Buncombe Young Republicans were right? None of these people are very informed to start with? All of the above?

Occupy 2.0: ALF-CIO NC and FLOC

North Carolina is riddled with overlapping Left leaning organizations. As I wrote in Occupy 2.0: NC’s Triangle Jobs For Justice, the SEIU is helping to create and organize social justice outfits around the country and here in North Carolina.

They are not alone in their endeavors. The AFL-CIO of North Carolina has become involved in a project called FLOC – Farm Labor Organizing Committee. The President of which is Baldemar Velasquez. Continue reading →
