Charlotte Officials Push To Let Anyone Pee Where They Want
The city officials for Charlotte are treading on some creepy ground. Last night, while everyone was paying attention to the Iowa Caucuses, Charlotte’s Mayor hosted a “non-discrimination forum”.
What was the forum really about?
Changing public policy in Charlotte to let those who “self-identify” as whatever gender be allowed pee in whatever facilities they want to.

Shocker. Mostly Political Jobs at TFA’s Leadership for Educational Equity
In the past, I’ve touched on Teach for America (TFA) and it’s offshoot, Leadership For Educational Equity (LEE).
I recently reportde on them when I found LEE money and Bloomberg money in the NC Superintendent race — for a Republican.
I just want to re-state what TFA and LEE are: Politically motivate recruiting groups, masquerading as subpar and taxpayer subsidized teacher training schools, whose main purpose is to seat it’s acolytes in places of political influence in order to further their specific ‘educational’ agendas. Those ‘educational’ agendas are often skewed a particular way and it’s not to the center or right.
I just want to lay it out clearly here. It’s not just my personal opinion that these groups are more politically directed than education directed. It’s fact. Follow the tweets.

Ruling: EPA Violated Federal Law with Social Media Propaganda Campaign
The activities of the EPA have been deemed to have broken the law, according to a report this week released by the General Accounting Office.
This is a big deal. The EPA has been running amok for a LONG time now, but has reached new heights of lawlessness under the current administration.
Quickly, I want to make a point about that last paragraph I excerpted above – the one outlining the use of social media. These media blitzes did more than violate the law, they likely cost taxpayers millions.

Heartland Article: Portland, Maine Lawmakers Dial Up Taxpayer-Funded Internet
Read my latest Heartland Budget & Tax article, Portland, Maine Lawmakers Dial Up Taxpayer-Funded Internet, and see how municipalities expanding broadband to the public might not be such a great thing and how nearly all ventures like this have ended up being very, very costly.
Excerpt:
Lawmakers in Portland, Maine are proposing the creation of a taxpayer-funded Internet service, an “open access fiber network” for residents, by expanding existing government networks to cover the entire city.
Repeating History
Steve Pociask, president of the American Consumer Institute, says taxpayer-funded Internet service leads to higher tax bills.
