“More With Four” Democrat Keeps Omitting Her Job, Moral Monday Support

Over the last month, I’ve pointed out the issues with the four people Democrats are putting up as Wake County Commissioner candidates. The News and Observer has done everything possible to portray these four in the best light possible; from not mentioning their inexperience, to their Moral Monday support and conflicts of interest.

I zeroed in on one of them before, Jessica Holmes. Ignore for a moment she has zero experience with multi-billion dollar budgets, growth planning or much of what is called for in a County Commissioner. Look at what she’s not saying.

In speaking engagements, online promotions and social media, Ms. Holmes neglects to tell people she is a Moral Monday supporter and speaker, as well as an NCAE attorney.

If Ms. Holmes is elected, will she be recusing herself from education related items or will she be quitting her job at the NCAE?

I ask this question about recusal because of her strident education activism at the NCAE and her involvement with the Moral Monday crowd on the topic.

See it for yourself.

#NCDEMS Defacto Leader Still Arguing Minorities Too Dumb To Get I.D.

Yesterday in North Carolina, an appeal was heard regarding North Carolina’s voting law changes (VIVA).

Tales from the front lines: Federal trial today in Charlotte. http://t.co/XlJLNHQ6dm @LadyLiberty1885 @sistertoldjah @NCPlottHound #ncpol

From the VIP linked article above, emphasis mine:

“Semantics aside, the real issue boiled down to a term known as “irreparable harm.” The plaintiffs argued that if this election law remains in force for the November elections, then people will be irreparably harmed. And since those people would disproportionately be the poor and the minority community, they further reason, this law is discriminatory under Section 2 of the US Civil Rights Act.

Their biggest problem is that silly concept known as, “burden of proof.” Other than with a hypothetical situation about an old lady who cannot vote at the precinct next door to her and instead has to get a ride to a precinct that’s a mile or two away. Judge Wynn conceded that a situation like that is perfectly normal for school assignments, but insisted it was improper for voting purposes.”

Moral Monday and Defacto NC Dem Leader, Reverend Barber, is still making the case minorities are being discriminated against by having to show identification. Translated: Minorities are either too dumb or too lazy to get and maintain identification.

Hagan “certainly supportive” of Far Left Moral Monday

Local media outlets can’t be bothered to ask Kay Hagan if she skipped out on ISIS briefings, but Left leaning outlet IndyWeek did get to ask her five questions. The opening of the Indyweek article is priceless; calling her recent campaign event with the AFL-CIO ‘awkward’:

Senator Kay Hagan was the keynote speaker at the North Carolina AFL-CIO’s annual convention last week at the Hilton in North Raleigh. At the event, the union leadership urged the rank-and-file to throw their fundraising weight behind Hagan, who has rebranded herself as “The Most Moderate Senator” in preparation for her race against Thom Tillis. While AFL members and chapters seemed excited about Hagan, the pairing was a bit of an awkward date. Just before Sen. Hagan arrived, Ben Wilkins, an organizer for NC Raise Up!, called for a $15 minimum wage for fast food workers. When Hagan spoke, she pledged to get North Carolinians $10.10, and then spoke about equal pay and elder care, barely mentioning labor rights. Regardless, her speech met with thunderous applause. After her speech, Sen. Hagan stepped aside with the INDY a brief interview.

In one of the questions asked by IndyWeek, she expresses her support for the far Left Moral Monday after being asked why she is distancing herself from them.

Why have you distanced yourself from Moral Monday when those were the same folks who got you elected in 2008?

Those arrested at Moral Monday protests have had their cases dismissed. This leaves taxpayer on the hook for all the related costs. Yay… civil disobedience…. or something.

Moral Monday Leader Not Arrested With 26 Fast Food Workers In Durham

Shocker. Moral Monday’s leader not arrested at the protest he promoted?

“Twenty-six protesters were arrested in Durham, NC Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014 as the Bull City joined over 150 cities nationwide as part of a campaign called “Fight for $15.” Labor organizers are trying to escalate efforts to get McDonald’s, Burger King and other fast-food companies to pay employees at least $15 an hour. The protesters blocked Main Street in Durham for several hours before being arrested.”
