Disclosure For Thee, But Not For Me
Blueprint NC partner, Progress NC, has been engaged in an ethics complaint against Governor Pat McCrory for some time now. Most recently, Progress NC has continued piling on by making video mash-ups to target the Governor.
The group, led by Gerrick Brenner, has focused only the Governor and seems to be paying little attention to the legal counsel responsible for actually reviewing and filing the economic interest documents. I asked Progress NC on Twitter about this, however, they have not yet replied:

Fitzsimon Beclowns Himself On #NCSPIN Over #APUSH
How many false statements, tea party smears and general bile can one fit into 1 minute and 23 seconds?
Watch @Fitzsimon make an ass of himself on #APUSH with a fountain of smears and rhetoric. http://t.co/SKgFYBQJU2 #nced #ncpol

It’s clear from the moment he opens his mouth, Fitzsimon knows NOTHING about APUSH. Reminds me of the type of crap News and Observer put out on APUSH. Alternatively, Fitzsimon does know APUSH is seeing a radical, leftist swing which is why he politicized criticism of it to death in less than a minute.

The county commissioners hold the purse strings for the Wake. Imagine your taxes if a Moral Monday crew gained control? They’d have you paying your ‘fair share’, right?
I left a comment and continue to comment on things like this because our media cannot or will not do its job. See below. Continue reading

‘Average Teacher’ In Hagan Ad Tied To BluePrintNC
In the NC Senate race, Kay Hagan has decided to use a ‘war on schools’ theme for her attacks on Thom Tillis. The NEA advocacy fund has an ad out which leads with a Chapel Hill teacher named Vivian Connell.
The ad portrays her as just some average teacher from North Carolina. She’s not.
