Behind Moral Mondays: Occupy, Unions, and Socialist.. OH MY!

For months, it has been illustrated that the Moral Monday ‘movement’ was enlisting every Left leaning group in the area. The rhetoric, the organizing — it’s right out of the Blueprint NC playbook. They include Occupy and various offshoots of it, Unions (both in and out of state), Union Social Justice front groups and Socialists. They represent a small minority in this state, yet seem to make the loudest amount of noise thanks to their friends in the media. Continue reading →

Leftist Groups Coordinate To Picket NC GOP Event

Hey, NC GOP… Heads up! Occupy Raleigh, the AFL-CIO and probably more are planning to picket your event on Tuesday. If you’re lucky, Code Pink’s Madea Benjamin might show up!

The AFL-CIO wants you to picket the NC GOP “Cashing-In on the “Decline of North Carolina”. Cute, using the NY Times piece as their title. The major problem with that NY Times piece is it assumes NC was ever Progressive or Blue. It wasn’t… EVER. Continue reading →

Occupy NatGat 2013 – Kalamazoo Day Two

MoMoMo: The Moral Monday Concert Series

Moral Mondays have vacated the NC General Assembly grounds in search of a new venue to whine to and whine they did – or rather sing. Singing, I use that term loosely here, is what took up the bulk of the rally. Perhaps they were lacking in the speaker department. They did manage to dig up a gentleman named Bacilio Castro who spoke only Spanish and had to have his speech translated. Funny thing, I think I’ve seen him before at another event and he spoke English then. Continue reading →
