Occupy 2.0: More Fast Food Strikes In Multiple States
Occupy 2.0 on the move. Another day of coordinated fast food worker protests was held on July 29th in multiple states including Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, New York and Wisconsin. Some in Chicago even continued today, August 1st. The strikes focus on raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour.
Looking behind the curtain, we see the AFL-CIO, SEIU and their occupy foot soldiers at work and being given a cushy reception from the mainstream media complex….

Occupy 2.0: ALF-CIO NC and FLOC
North Carolina is riddled with overlapping Left leaning organizations. As I wrote in Occupy 2.0: NC’s Triangle Jobs For Justice, the SEIU is helping to create and organize social justice outfits around the country and here in North Carolina.
They are not alone in their endeavors. The AFL-CIO of North Carolina has become involved in a project called FLOC – Farm Labor Organizing Committee. The President of which is Baldemar Velasquez. Continue reading

Occupy 2.0: NC’s Triangle Jobs For Justice
We’ve learned that the SEIU is feeding offshoot groups to organize protests of workers in the fast food and retail industries. These groups are cropping up all over the country under a variety of names and include social justice themes, but all have the common goal of raising the minimum wage or talk about a ‘living wage’.
