NC Media Memory Holes Critical Hagan Story

Charlotte Observer memory holed a story about a legal review involving Kay Hagan and the evolving stimulus scandal that surrounds her family. The Charlotte Observer put up a story citing a WBTV report that was rather damning in the opening paragraphs.

Phil Kerpen nailed it:

What, an act of journalism made it past us? DELETE DELETE DELETE! http://t.co/0JESA2P66Y pic.twitter.com/OdQo0mbPuw

Well, this blatant media bias and journalistic malpractice won’t stand.

News and Observer Jumps Media Bias Shark With Wake Endorsements

Not a lot of background, facts or qualifications for the candidates the News and Observer has endorsed for the Wake County Commissioner race. Perhaps that’s because their resumes are on the light side of experience and heavy on the political activism side – specifically far Left, big government, big spending Moral Monday activism.

The county commissioners hold the purse strings for the Wake. Imagine your taxes if a Moral Monday crew gained control? They’d have you paying your ‘fair share’, right?

I left a comment and continue to comment on things like this because our media cannot or will not do its job. See below. Continue reading

News and Observer Interview of #NC49 Candidate Leaves Out Arrest Record

The News and Observer has been creating candidate interview videos.
Here’s Kim Hanchette’s.
(VIDEO)

Mirroring their article on Hanchette, News and Observer asks no questions asked about her Moral Monday participation, Equality NC affiliation or her arrest at Moral Monday in 2013.

These are background pieces of this candidate the public deserves to know. News and Observer has not done their job — which is to tell the whole story, sans the ‘good lighting’. Continue reading

News and Observer Leaves Out Arrest Record of Candidate

The News and Observer has an article up entitled, Pendleton, Hanchette seek Wake seat.

The N&O does a brief write-up on both candidates but leaves out some critical information, like Hanchette’s Moral Monday arrest on June 10, 2013.

Also, at the June 10th arrest, Hanchette tied herself to Equality NC by listing them as her interest group affiliation. Equality NC has endorsed Hanchette as well.

Remember, Equality NC is also a Blueprint NC member; “Cripple, eviscerate, pressure and slam”.

Another day, ANOTHER News and Observer shill piece.
This one is supposed to look horrifying, look at the scary title!

“A hidden, drastic change in NC school funding”

A lot of the readers are nodding lemmings in the comment section. The main theme being “Evil GOP! Rabble Rabble! War on Education! Yarrrrrr!!!!”

A few saw through the bunk sales job.

Here’s one and it cuts right to the point on why this article is full of crap:

“Buyers Remorse” On Common Core?

ABC has an AP article up called Buyers Remorse on Common Core for Policymakers. “Buyers Remorse” On Common Core? Years after adoption and after a slew of slick presentations and truckload of education buzzwords, the reality of Common Core is coming home to roost — but only after citizens stood up and made noise. Our policymakers were all to comfortable to just nod and pat each other on the backs over Common Core. There is the lesson learned here: don’t take your eyes and ears off the powers that be.
