Project Veritas Shows NH Primary Voting Still Has Fraud Issues

In a new undercover video that dropped this morning, Project Veritas revisits New Hampshire and finds the state’s revised Voting laws don’t really make much of an impact.

Watch:

Video Description:

Four years ago, James O’Keefe released a video which showed how easy it would be for people to vote in New Hampshire using the names of deceased people. As a result of that video, New Hampshire changed its voter ID laws. Project Veritas Action revisited New Hampshire during Tuesday’s presidential primary election and again showed how easy it is to cast fraudulent votes with the new law fully in place. In this new video, multiple election officials and Bernie Sanders presidential campaign staffers offered advice to journalists using hidden cameras about how to circumvent the law.

Not too long ago, I wrote about a familiar someone being caught for voter suppression in New Hampshire: Moral Monday Arrestee and US Uncut Activist Arrested In NH On Voter Suppression Charge

Vote TwiceWhat I didn’t include in that article is that Mr. Gibson is apparently a very active voter… in multiple states.

Here’s the evidence attached to a complaint against Gibson filed last Fall by New Hampshire Citizen, Ed Naile:

Attachment to Election Law Complaint Form Filed by Ed Naile, Nov. 12, 2015

In regards to the different voter registrations and domiciles of Carl Robert Gibson (dob) 5/11/87.

1. Carl Robert Gibson has been, until May of this year, registered to vote at 117 Comanche Drive, Elizabethtown, Kentucky in Hardin County. Enclosed is his May 19, 2008 Change of Address Card showing his birth date. (Exhibit A).

2. Carl Robert Gibson has been registered to vote in Kentucky since 2006. His voter history showing his registration and several address changes is enclosed. (Exhibit B).

3. On April 24, of 2012 Carl Robert Gibson registered to vote in the State of Connecticut at 49-1 Seaside Lane, Old Lyme, Ct. 06371-1944 with a phone number of 1-601-454-6443; His Ct. Voter ID Number is 00400665. He registered a car at that address. A copy of an email I received from the Ct. Dept of safety is enclosed. (Exhibit C)

4. On November 6, 20012 Carl Robert Gibson, while knowingly registered to vote in two other states, in all likelihood, used a Kentucky Driver’s License to register to vote same day in the November 6, 2012 NH General Election using a Concord Post Office given address of 26 Summit Street, the back door of 85 Center St. where his apartment is located.

5. On April 2, 2013 Carl Robert Gibson registered to vote and voted in a Wisconsin State Election while being a registered voter in NH and Ct. He posted a photo of his burned belongings from fire at his Wisconsin home. http://readersupportednews.org/opinion2/277-75/19430-focus-carl-gibson-dear-best-buy-ceo-hubert-joly.

6. On August 30, of 2013 Carl Robert Gibson was arrested in Huston, Texas and posted on his web site a copy of the Criminal Trespass Complaint showing his Kentucky Driver’s License Number G02-716-568. (Exhibit D).

7. On November 4, 2014 Carl Robert Gibson voted in the NH General Election by absentee ballot, knowing he had recently registered and voted in Wisconsin.

Carl Robert Gibson has knowingly and repeatedly provided false documents to mislead NH Election Officials as to his legal domicile. Carl Robert Gibson used identification from various states to accomplish this activity thereby enhancing his vote and cheating NH citizens out of their qualified votes.

Heartland Article: Common Core TextBook Publisher – It’s all about the money

heartland iconMy latest article at Heartland School News is now available:

Textbook Vendor: Common Core Standards ‘All About the Money’

Excerpt:

An undercover journalist for a nonprofit organization captured candid video of a national textbook company’s sales executive making inflammatory remarks about federal Common Core standards and textbook companies’ support of them.

Project Veritas, a nonprofit organization whose stated mission is to “investigate and expose corruption, dishonesty, self-dealing, waste, fraud, and other misconduct,” interviewed now-former Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Accounts Manager Dianne Barrow about why educational publishing companies generally support the federal education standards.

2016 Runny “Eggs and Issues” Forum [VIDEO]

Last month, the NC Big Ed Complex’s  NC Public School Forum held their “Eggs and Issues” Forum.  I translated their “wish list” back in January, but now the video is out.

Last year, it was pushing more Common Core and they did more of that this year. Of significance this year, expect everything to track back to “race” via “Disparate impact”.

Check out the slide:

Irony. Common Core is showing more and more it has “disparate impact” on minorities.

NC SPIN was there again, here’s their video:

Unedited version of the video is here.

Lt. Governor Forest: Charter School Myths vs Facts [VIDEO] – #NCed

Another great video from Lt. Governor Dan Forest!

This one is on charter schools. I’m very glad he did this one, and he rightly addresses the assault on charter schools as coming from those defending the status quo.

I’ve said this same thing  many times. There is some valid criticism of charter schools, however the majority of the push back comes in the form of protectionist rhetoric.

Such rhetoric’s ultimate landing point is that of  impugning parents who are unsatisfied with their public school and want to choose for the best educational fit for their child.

NC Rep. Walker Addresses Social Values At Heritage Summit [VIDEO]

The annual Heritage Action Conservative Summit this year featured a speech from North Carolina’s Rep. Mark Walker, who serves the 6th Congressional district.

Heritage has posted the video of his remarks, which I have posted below.  View the full remarks here.

Some excerpts:
— But today, my hope is not just to discuss these social issues, but to talk about “the what, the how, and the why” of the social values and the traditional values that are the foundation, that I believe, of this country.

— But the American Dream is social at its very nature. It begins with life. Common sense tells us any organization, any business, a flower, most important…life is the beginning of any opportunity. It is our most foundational right. If we will not fight for the most basic human rights, then what else are we trusted to fight for? This may be the greatest human rights issue of our day.

— And if we truly believe in such noble things like religious freedom and opportunity, then we mush push forward, hand-in-heart, to eliminate every tax-payer dollar that goes into Planned Parenthood. There is no other freedom-robbing, opportunity-destroying, and life-killer that is more intentional than Planned Parenthood.

— You see, our freedom to live and work in accordance to what we believe has been placed in the crosshairs by an administration that mocks those who dare cling to their guns and Bible.

— Life, religious liberty…the American Dream has a very clear point of growth…the community. And the building block of the community is the family. The family, which is the very starting point for education!
— Until we focus on these values…like life, community, religious liberty, education, and the family…the American people will continue to hunger for hope.

— Let me tell you folks today, in my opinion, it’s OK to be angry. It’s OK to talk about what needs to be done. The majority of our classrooms are being indoctrinated left and right, from kindergarten through post-graduate work with this progressive secularism. Instead of teaching our children to view the world through the eyes of truth, we are teaching them things like more political correctness, more tolerance is OK. I’m upset about that. I hope that you are, as well. I’m angry about that!

— Not only is it important to be discerning, but you also want to be compassionate. I think this is important. People who are informed at the level that you are can be two dimensional. We can hold those leaders accountable, those who are making these decisions, but at the same time, we have the ability to horizontally share that compassion.

— It’s okay to be a loud voice, as long as you’re doing more than just making noise. Let me say that again. We see this sometimes in politics. It’s okay to be a loud voice, as long as you’re doing more than just making noise.

— We have to talk about these issues. Why wouldn’t we want to? We have the truth on our side. To be able to share what is important. To be able to go into these communities. One of the greatest privileges that I have is to go into some of these places and they have never heard of individual liberty, they’ve never heard about hope and opportunity. The only thing they’ve heard is how they should grow up and be dependent on a federal government for every need: Physically, financially, emotionally and even spiritually. That’s the opportunity that we have when we are compassionate.

— I walked away from a ministry career, took no salary for a year to run for office and share these foundational truths that I believe can make a difference. WE have to continue to talk about these issues. But we only win back to hearts by being discerning, showing compassion and staying engaged. Don’t look past people.
— The moral foundation of this country is undeniable because our rights are not derivative from man. As you believe, they come from Almighty God.

— The fertile soil is not Washington, it’s your families, it’s your neighborhood. And if the wind is going to unfurl the sails of this great nation once again, it must be led through our local citizens, our homes, our towns, our churches, and not from this overreaching arm of the federal government. But I am convinced that if we discover just a fraction of that indomitable spirit, our great nation can once again sail majestically. The time is now, may god provide the path and may we have the courage to follow.

NC DPI’s Latest Bad Idea: Survey Kids About Their Teachers

The most recent State Board of Education meetings have been an exercise in what NOT to do for the Department of Public Education (DPI).

Behold, DPI’s latest bad idea: Surveying kids about their “perceptions” of their teachers.

File this under: WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?

Abstract description:

There is a substantial body of educational research that indicates that student perception surveys can provide educators with meaningful feedback on their instructional practices.  It is the intent of the State Board of Education to provide North Carolina educators with these data for the purpose of informing Professional Growth Plans (PGPs) and School Improvement Plans.  These data will not have a formal connection with the North Carolina Educator Effectiveness System (NCEES), but will be provided to educators as a standardized artifact.  The goal of the State Board of Education is to implement these student perception surveys state-wide, with the possibility of a phased roll-out over multiple years.

So, these “perceptions” won’t have a “formal” connection? What’s the point then?

How will this be administered? Are kids names anonymized?  How does this work exactly?

I am told that there was discussion at the board meeting on these proposed surveys and that it’s already in Powerschool and Superintendents have been told it’s to go live ASAP??

Given that elementary parents largely don’t have access to Powerschool yet, this is a problem right off the bat.

Also, WHO IS PAYING FOR THIS?  Show me the money, DPI.

Ok, so I looked over all the documents attached and see that this proposal calls for “perception surveys” of kids starting in 3rd grade. Wait, what?  One of my kids is in 3rd grade.

Did DPI plan to ask for parental permission?  There is no documentation present indicating they even thought about the parents.  Gee, shocker.

I ask about permission, because I don’t want my kid taking this survey, much less any survey involving subjective and unscientific “perceptions” of young children that would have possible ramifications for our teachers.

Look at the questions for the 3rd through 5th graders, which appear to be identical for  grades 6-12. Subjective and loaded are two terms that leap to mind.  There are 29 questions… 29!  That’s just about as long as a CASE21 test.

The very first one is “How excited are you about going to this class?”. What does that even mean?? My kid gets excited about Pokemon cards, how about yours?

Another one — “How fair or unfair are the rules in this class? “.  How does an 8 or 9-year-old think about fairness?

Yet another question calls for a child to guess what a teacher might be thinking about them: “Overall, how high are this teacher’s expectations of you?”

Hey, will this data be published? Kept in the Longitudinal database? ANSWERS PLEASE?

This is not just a bad idea, it’s the mother of bad ideas.
