PPP Flawed Methodology Not A Bug, But A Feature?
In my travels this morning, I spied an article at New Republic about Public Policy Polling entitled, There’s Something Wrong With America’s Premier Liberal Pollster – The problem with PPP’s methodology. The article points out that PPP has been deleting questions to avoid criticism, following no consistent methodology, bad sampling and, in essence, weighting questions to get the results they like.
Excerpts with emphasis added:
After examining PPP’s polls from 2012 and conducting a lengthy exchange with PPP’s director, I’ve found that PPP withheld controversial elements of its methodology, to the extent it even has one, and treated its data inconsistently….. Continue reading
More Shiny Objects From Kay Hagan
Senator Hagan? Have the Koch Brothers declared their intent to run in North Carolina? She keep sending me emails about them…
This hypocrisy of Hagan’s is getting a bit tedious, especially when she’s accepted money from all over the country. More of Hagan’s campaign of hate, patterned on Obama’s campaign fundraising strategy: Find a dissenting target, make the people afraid of them and then pump it for all the money you can.
Hagan’s SQUIRREL!!!!
Hagan isn’t stopping with the eeeeevil Koch Brothers — she needs cover on Obamacare. Senator Hagan supported and still supports it 110%. She wants to make sure you don’t ask her about it though. Behold, the same bullshit talking points coming out of the Navigators and the Obama administration: Continue reading

Calling All Watchdogs: Voter Integrity BootCamp 2013
Voter ID, Voter Fraud, Voter Integrity. These phrases and more like them have been on the lips of most in North Carolina in recent months. The new law, nicknamed VIVA, that requires voters show ID at the polls won’t go into effect until 2016 but we have upcoming elections in 2014. How can we protect our elections during the next election cycle? We get involved.
I’ve done it by writing and taking action. So can you. Learn how!
The Voter Integrity Project has just such a way citizens can get involved in the process. They are holding their first ever Voter Integrity BootCamp on September 14th from 9 am to 5:30 pm in Morrisville, NC. They have Dr. Tim Daughtry, author of Waking the Sleeping Giant, lined up as their keynote speaker. More detailed event information, including ticket purchases can be found on their website.
Press Release via the Voter Integrity Project: Continue reading

Video Of That ‘Non-Partisan Advocate For Clean Elections’
On the 17th, I wrote about Bob Hall of Democracy NC being touted as a ‘Non-Partisan Advocate for Clean Elections’. I included a tweet from Moral Monday held on July 8th in that article.
Now I have the video to go with that quote, courtesy of NC Renegade: Continue reading
