NC Public School Forum’s Leader Shows His True Colors And It’s Not Pretty

Over the weekend, I spotted a nasty series of comments from the NC Public School Forum’s leader, Keith Poston, in an article by WBTV about a township charter school bill.

The Public School Forum is a 501(c)3 which receives public funds and Poston was paid close to $170k according to 2016 990 filings.

I took to Twitter, called Poston out on his vitriolic remarks and was treated to a response I’d have expected from my rising Second Grader. Poston showed his true colors and called me a “Troll.”

NC Dem Bill for ‘Safer Schools, Healthier Kids’ Looks Just Like ‘Extreme Risk Protection Order’ Bill

The bill trotted out in front of cameras at a press conference last week claiming it was about ‘safer schools’ and ‘healthier kids’ looks just like another one that was shuffled off to a Senate committee to die.

The previous bill was about enacting ‘extreme risk protection orders’, which is basically accusing someone of being unhinged and the courts can then take their guns away.

Both bills were put forward by NC Democrats and seem to be essentially the same. The main difference is that one of them is using NC schools and kids as a reason to enact their gun control wish list.

NC Charter Wars Spills Over Into Virtual Online Schools

The war on school choice in North Carolina continues. The Left and Democrats in this state have made their hatred for school choice (charter schools, homeschooling, and Opportunity Scholarships) very well-known.

This time the salvo is targeting virtual charter schools.  Here’s the overall theme: All charter schools are evil and if it’s a virtual charter school, then it is double evil.
