What do your Parent Teacher Association (PTA) dollars pay for in Wake County? According to an email from the Wake County PTA Council announcing a “Diversity and Equity Inclusion Conference”, those dollars may be funding sessions such as “Male engagement,” “Transgender 101,” and becoming an “LGBTQ+ Youth Ally.” Continue reading

Wake County Schools rented out a high school for a rap video filming (updated)
For $800 dollars, you can apparently rent a Wake County High School to film a rap video featuring long strings of profanity, inappropriate student-teacher interactions, and tossing around what is perhaps supposed to be a big bundle of marijuana. Continue reading

Wake County parents report incidents of harassment, abuse as some students return full-time
The reintroduction this week of children to full-time instruction at school has been met with reports of alleged mental, emotional, and physical abuse in Wake County Public Schools by staff and teachers.
