Bill Proposed in NC House Literally Replaces Common Core
Last year, the Academic Standards Review Commission (ASRC) was created by the North Carolina General Assembly to get rid of Common Core failed in their task.
A new bill would literally fix what the commission failed to do.

You’re On a List
So who or what is deciding an account should be “shadow banned” for lack of a better term? Is it an algorithm that searches for keywords? Is it based on user reports? Followers? Interactions? TOS violations? Twitter, after all, is notorious for suspending accounts for TOS violations, yet other accounts doing the exact same thing remain unscathed. I really could go on, but I digress. NC Governor Cooper’s State of the State Address
Yesterday evening was the first State of the State address for North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper.
There was little in the way of remarks on the actual state of the state. There was also little new material other than a brief touch on opioid abuse in the Governor’s address. The bulk of the address contained much of the same rhetoric and the same promises he campaigned on. Continue reading
