Did Wake Commissioner Candidate Move Just To Be In Specific District?
As I wrote yesterday, the NC Democrat candidates for Wake County Commissioner are unraveling.
It appear that “More with Four” candidate Jessica Holmes likes to house hop… right into a specific district before an election.
Holmes has lived at least three places since moving to Wake County in 2012:
5304 Underwood Arbor Pl., Cary (apartment)
1322 Renshaw Ct., Cary (Condominium)
301 Dove Cottage Ln., Cary (Townhouse)
Holmes purchased the Renshaw Court address on March 25, 2013.
She lived there until Jan. 17, 2014.
Both the Underwood and Renshaw addresses are in Commission District 4, represented by Democrat Caroline Sullivan.
Holmes then moved to Dove Cottage, inside the 3rd District, on Jan. 17, 2014- just one month before filing for office.

Wake Commissioner Candidate Can’t Pay Taxes On Time? Update: Ticket for Revoked License?
The Democrat’s “More with Four” candidates keep unraveling.
It appears that John Burns can’t pay his own taxes on time?
Burns and Skelly have paid property taxes on their home on time, but their cars are apparently another matter. Source: Wake Co. Property Tax Office
According to the tax records, Mr. Burns has been late paying his car tax every year but one since 2002. Not some years. Not most years. Every year but one.

Wake BOC Candidate John Burns Mocks Travel Ban
This is the guy running for an office of controlling the purse strings in Wake County. He apparently thinks concern over Ebola is hilarious and should be mocked.
Travel ban makes sense. The town that builds walls always survives the zombie movie. #nope #itdoesnot

Wake Commissioner Candidate Slammed On Education, UNC Report
Wake Citizens Coalition slams “More at Four” Wake County Commissioner candidate. News and Observer hardest hit?
“Matt Calabria noted the “major’s popularity among undergraduate students …” The Wainstein report did also.
The difference? Wainstein soberly reported the sham that the Department of African and Afro-American Studies is. Matt Calabria used it for his personal political advancement.
Now Matt Calabria wants to lecture others about educational excellence in Wake County. Maybe Matt should spend a little more time in Wake County beyond the few brief years he’s been here. He might actually learn something.”
OUCH. That’s gonna leave a mark.

News and Observer Jumps Media Bias Shark With Wake Endorsements
Not a lot of background, facts or qualifications for the candidates the News and Observer has endorsed for the Wake County Commissioner race. Perhaps that’s because their resumes are on the light side of experience and heavy on the political activism side – specifically far Left, big government, big spending Moral Monday activism.
The county commissioners hold the purse strings for the Wake. Imagine your taxes if a Moral Monday crew gained control? They’d have you paying your ‘fair share’, right?
I left a comment and continue to comment on things like this because our media cannot or will not do its job. See below. Continue reading
