Apparently, North Carolina’s decision in not extending unemployment insurance, in order to avoid accumulating more debt on top of the massive totals built up by former Governor Perdue before she fled after one term, as people noticing. Continue reading

Bully Barber On The Move Again – Missouri

Reverend Barber is on the move again trying to spread this Occupy Monday campaign. This time he’s jetted off from the land of Unions to different pastures. Barber’s special brand of race baiting is coming to Missouri:

NCAE Chooses Union Organizer As New Director

The North Carolina Association of Educators already acts like a union, even if it isn’t officially one. Now they have an Executive Director to reinforce that image. Welcome Rachelle Johnson from Ohio.

The N&O article with the announcement of this addition is behind their pay wall is short and N&O only mentioned she worked for the Ohio Education Association. Johnson is, of course, friendly with the NEA a part of her work at OEA. Here is Johnson canvasing for the NEA in 2011. The N&O also didn’t mention Ms. Johnson’s large compensation figures. Occupy Monday FL Featuring Rev. Al

‘Wicked law’
“Florida is ground zero for a sick and wicked law that has now spread through 23 other states,” Sharpton told the crowd on the Capitol steps. Continue reading

About That UNCW Poll…

There’s a survey floating around out there from UNCW on education. Some folks can barely contain their glee at a survey that so conveniently fits the BlueprintNC/Moral Monday style narrative they and their cohorts have been touting for a while now. Local media of course endorsed it.

While NC Policy Watch’s Wagner is celebrating more BlueprintNC crippling and eviscerating, I say not so fast. This survey was already on my radar and a few other’s, who have noted some big problems with it:

FYI… 60+% of them had public school employment history MT @kennycmckee: UNCW asked parents about #NCGA & #NCED => http://t.co/XAiuaYz1wN
