Civitas has a poll out. Tillis leads Hagan 46% to 41% overall. Obamacare is indeed still a big problem for Hagan, who said she’d vote for it again.
Here’s the emailed press release:

Kay and Harry’s #DarkMoney Hypocrisy
Harry Reid has spent a considerable amount of time railing about the Koch Brothers on the Senate Floor. Reid showed his Constitutional ignorance in proposing a Constitutional Amendment against the Koch Brothers. Hi, Bill of Attainder ring a bell, Harry? My lord, you are so obsessed.
Meanwhile, his billionaire pal Tom Steyer is pumping millions into Reids’ SuperPAC and into Kay Hagan’s campaign. Face it, Harry… Steyer owns you.
According to Hagan and Reid, Dark Money is evil. Unless it’s their dark money.

The IRS Targeting And At Risk Dems
The targeting of Conservative and Tea Party groups by the IRS represents a weaponization of the department for the purpose of political persecution. The more documents that come out, the more sources pushing for said persecution grows.
High ranking Democrats, many vulnerable in the coming 2014 election cycle, have been named in a recent article by TownHall’s Katie Pavlich which details the stonewalling by the IRS in the ongoing investigation. North Carolina’s Kay Hagan made the list; emphasis added below.
On May 21, 2013 the National Republican Senatorial Committee sent the IRS a Freedom of Information Act request asking for “any and all documents or records, including but not limited to electronic documents, e-mails, paper documents, photographs (electronic or hard copy), or audio files,” related to correspondence from January 1, 2009 and May 21, 2013 between thirteen different Democrat members of Congress and top IRS officials. Those officials include former IRS Commissioner Doug Shulman, former Commissioner Steven Miller, senior IRS official Joseph Grant and former head of tax exempt groups Lois Lerner. Members of Congress named in the request include Sen. Schumer (D-NY), Sen. Reid (D-NV), DSCC Chair Sen. Bennet (D-CO), Sen. Landrieu (D-LA), Sen. Pryor (D-AR), Sen. Hagan (D-NC), Sen. Begich (D-AK), Sen. Shaheen (D-NH), Sen. Mark Udall (D-CO), Sen. Franken (D-MN), Sen. Warner (D-VA), Rep. Braley and Rep. Peters (D-MI). Continue reading

Hagan’s #DarkMoney Gets It Wrong On NC Tax Claim
Terry Stoops observes that Harry Reid’s Senate Majority PAC has earned “Three Pinocchios” from the Washington Post and takes a stab at the math done by the Left in NC, “Don’t quote me on this, but I think the Left is using Common Core math.”
HEH.
Snippet from the WaPo piece below. Note the NC Justice Center (founder of BlueprintNC famous for their attack memo) is named as the source for this false claim: Continue reading
