Hey,  NC GOP… Heads up! Occupy Raleigh, the AFL-CIO and probably more are planning to picket your event on Tuesday.

The AFL-CIO wants you to picket the NC GOP “Cashing-In on the “Decline of North Carolina”.  Cute, using the NY Times piece as their title. The major problem with that NY Times piece is it assumes NC was ever Progressive or Blue. It wasn’t… EVER.

Not sure why they are calling it ‘Picket Posh House” event instead of a Moral Monday event. Oh wait, they are calling it a Moral Monday event – well, they’re inviting Moral Monday at any rate:

Hey look, one of the replies to the event says she’s bringing Madea Benjamin of CodePink. Woo! That’s actually likely, since she is in Raleigh that day. Someone is sure to get arrested now.

People of note who have said ‘yes’ include Action Now’s Kevin Rogers and Justin Guillory (Bev Perdue’s former New Media Director) from Progress NC. On the ‘maybe’ list, it’s nice to see the director of NC Votes for Clean Elections, Melissa Price Kromm and NC Justice Center’s Phyllis Nunn. They’re all just so darned ‘balanced’ and non-partisan.

We Are The 99 Moral Monday Percent!

Oh hey, you know Occupy Raleigh is in! All that talk of 1%ers is too much carrot dangling. They’ve labeled it a “MoveOn Civic Action”. I located the MoveOn.org RSVP with the help of the NC AFL-CIO Twitter account. Occupy keeps claiming they don’t take marching order from unions – yeah, whatever.

I’m sure other groups have been invited. Moral Monday is just the same Leftist cocktail party of recycled BluePrint NC partners each time.

Hope these folks ate their Wheaties or they are going to wear themselves out this week. Especially the AFL-CIO. They have an Occupy 2.0 Fast Food Strike to coordinate here in NC with the national planned on August 28th.
