The Editorial Board of News and Observer’s sister paper, Charlotte Observer, has apparently never heard of stopping digging when you’re already in a hole.

Ellmers gets McClatchy Treatment (Update)

Imagine if this was a Democrat Female Representative? Likely that you wouldn’t have even heard of the story.

Via Agent Pierce Said:

August 21; ’12: News & Observer Publisher Orage Quarles was not arrested Tuesday on charges of trafficking in child pornography and white slavery. As to whether Quarles or N&O Editor John Drescher routinely expose themselves to pedestrians in Nash Square, FBI officials have not returned our calls…..

Does that headline “grab you”? Not a single word of the above is untrue nor would Quarles nor Drescher deny one bit of it.

Edwards Madam Story Still Missing In Triangle

I reported yesterday that local media were not reporting on the Edwards Madam/Prostitution ring story. The two outlets in question here are WRAL (NBC 17) and ABC11. As I wrote yesterday, WRAL was the only one of the two to reply.

I’ve checked their feeds and sites today — still nothing despite it being carried by ABC’s national parent site. Although, it’s worth noting the story was buried there. Media Malpractice, I believe, is what Rush Limbaugh calls this. Continue reading →

Edwards Prostitution Ring Story Blacked Out?

There is a bit of a blackout on the John Edwards Prostitution ring story in Raleigh, NC. neither WRAL nor ABC11 were carrying it yesterday and still aren’t as of 8:25 am this morning.
