Hickory High teacher arrested on 28 counts involving a child

Union County teacher charged with disseminating obscenities to minors (Update: Convicted)

A Union County Public Schools teacher has been charged with multiple counts of disseminating obscene material to students.

UPDATE: Santos Valladares was convicted on Nov. 15, 2022, on two counts of disseminating obscenities to minors. Records show he was sentenced to “active” community supervision beginning on the date of his conviction and ending on May 13, 2024.

Former Tyrell County teacher arrested, extradited to W. VA on obscene materials charges
