#DM7 Article: Reality TV In Congressional District #NC02
Last week, I wrote about Frank Roche – Candidate for #NC02. Since then, the primary for this Congressional district in North Carolina has taken place. Unfortunately for Roche, Ellmers successfully defended her seat with 58.76 % to Roche’s 41.24%. On the Democrat side of the aisle is where the circus has come to town. This week, I’m writing American Idol runner-up and fired Celebrity Apprentice — and by the way, this is about the same NC District 2 Congressional race. Stop checking your browser address. No, you are not at The Onion.
Remember, the same folks mocking Tea Party & GOP are about to nominate American Idol contestant. #SelfAwareness #ncpol #ncga #ncelection

Hagan Grabs A Shovel To Dig Her Own Grave
Kay Hagan has been running from her Obamacare record for the better part of a year now. No comment in the media, dodging her constituents — Even when the President himself came to town, Hagan was nowhere to be found. Hagan was even so desperate and Obamacare so toxic, that she tried to tag her current opponent as having liked the idea of Obamacare in the past. How’d that tactic work out for ya, Kay?
It’s true. Obamacare is toxic. Obamacare is killing Democrats nation wide, Hagan is no different with over 300,000 canceled policies in North Carolina. Political career tombstones are lining up as November approaches. Each with a ‘R.I.P – Obamacare Democrat’ written on them.
Now, Hagan is grabbing the shovel and helping to dig her own grave… Continue reading

It’s Time To Fire Kay Hagan, North Carolina.
Well, the primary is over and Thom Tillis has emerged as the Republican candidate to challenge Kay Hagan. A lot of folks were split in their support during this primary season.
Brannon, Harris, Grant — all great candidates with conservative values and strengths. No one is going to say otherwise, but now it is time to get behind the chosen candidate. It is not time for in-fighting, what-if arguments or for the grinding of axes. There’s a reason the Left keeps beating us; they come together, lock arms and get behind their candidates. Now it’s our turn. Get it together, folks.
It’s time to come together and GET RID OF KAY HAGAN.
Get started by getting to know Thom Tillis. This race is being watched by the nation — All Roads Lead To North Carolina. Continue reading

Dem #DarkMoney In NC
The Washington Free Beacon has an article up today detailing the dark money flowing to the Democrats from the ultra-secretive group Democracy Alliance. That article has ties to North Carolina and Kay Hagan.
The Free Beacon’s article lays out a document that they have obtained left on the floor of the groups most recent meeting. The Free Beacon article begins as follows: Continue reading
Another Reason Kay Is Wrong For NC: Common Core
If you’ve been on Twitter, you’ve likely seen Kay Hagan’s timeline in the past few days promoting teachers. That’s great in and of itself, teachers should be promoted. However, Hagan’s choice of guest for the State of the Union address was a teacher who just loves the hotly debated and increasingly loathed Common Core. That teacher was 2013-2014 Teacher of The Year, Karyn Dickerson.
As Teacher of the Year, Dickerson has supported the Common Core State Standards, which have been adopted by North Carolina and most other states. She has also called for more innovation in education to better prepare students for the future workforce. – News and Record
Teacher of the Year is pretty much known as a politically charged popularity contest in North Carolina. That assessment is not without merit, especially in this case given Ms. Dickerson made comments at a far Left Moral Monday rally. It’s folks like this who are questioning why we are dropping an experimental set of standards. I think NC should be more worried about replacing these folks. That includes Kay Hagan. Continue reading

NC Primary 2014 Results
Yesterday was primary day in North Carolina. There were 1,021,413 ballots cast out of 6,516,126 voters. Some folks in the Twitter #ncpol hashtag found the number of voters, specifically the number of women to men ratio of voters, confusing.
This is state demos, not tonights. MT @NCDiane777: @JeanneBondsNC: Standing ovation #ncwomen. You showed up!! #ncpol pic.twitter.com/F8OVjsk16m
