Voter ID: Clearly Missing The Point
No matter how dismissive the Left and Democrats are about it, Voter Fraud exists. The usual arguments are something along the lines of ‘it happens in isolated incidents’ or ‘it’s not widespread’ or something similar. The main theme being they admit it happens but it’s not that big of a deal.
Right.
It’s only the activity that determines and shapes our governments and political landscape. So what’s the big deal if 53,000 dead people are still on the voter rolls in Florida? It’s only a key state to determine the Presidency. No biggie. What’s a few illegal votes anyway? It’s just like speeding — it’s also against the law but everyone does it from time to time and most of us get away with it. Continue reading
NC Primary Roundup 2012
Full Amendment One voting results here. Voting information on Amendment One by County, with map, here. Interestingly, only seven counties in NC landed in the majority ‘against’ column: Buncombe, Watauga, Orange, Durham, Chatham, Wake and Mecklenberg. All of these counties were won by Obama in the 2008 General Election.

CBS GOP Foreign Policy Debate 11/12/11
I watched about the first 30 minutes of it, therefore a lot of what I post here will be mainly links and analysis of other bloggers who covered the whole thing. CBS’s attempt to break it up to one hour on TV and the rest streaming live on the internet was something I said would fail — and it did. Continue reading

CNBC Republican Presidential Debate 11/9/11
Preface: I thought the moderators for the Bloomberg one were the most screamingly awful liberals who were unable to control themselves. I was wrong. Every question had daggers in it. The tone with which questions were asked varied from moderator to moderator, but all of them seemed to be auditioning for the role of ‘hard hitting journalist’ in the next Scorsese movie. Continue reading
