Judge denies motions to dismiss in New Hanover schools sex abuse civil case
A judge has denied multiple motions to dismiss made by the defendants in the civil action brought against New Hanover County Public Schools by 14 victims of former teacher Michael Kelly. The same judge has also directed some of the motions related to the SAFE Child Act to be heard by a three-judge panel in Wake County. Continue reading
