Amendment Would Temporarily Tip The Scales Of Power In Cabarrus

A bill put into play by Senator Fletcher Hartsell (R-36) appears to be trying to manipulate the balance of power on the Cabarrus county Board of Commissioners. The NC Senate passed his amendment this week that would temporarily shift the number of Cabarrus Commissioners from 5 to 7 by adding Diane Honeycutt and Sue Mynatt temporarily. The amendment is part of a bill (HB 1218 / SB 844) that would alter the charter of the city of Monroe in Union County.

The Cabarrus Board of Commissioners was a hot topic during the primary season. Folks should bear in mind that Diane Honeycutt was one of the candidates using the strategy of getting Democrats to party switch to vote for her in the primary. The move to push her and Mynatt into their roles before their term begins is rooted in one thing: counter-balancing the Tea party influence. Another “World Class” Lie From Hagan #NCsen

Kay Hagan told the Lie of The Year 24 times. She’s easily lied by omission just as many — that includes her silence on our veterans. In 2008, Hagan promised a “world class” healthcare system for our veterans. Looks like we can call that promise a “world class” lie. A lie she repeated just this year.
Hagan is scrambling for any cover she can get these days and dodging questions from reporters.

Has Hagan Lost Any Emails?

We learned that the dog ate Lerner’s emails this week:

“After months of delay in responding to congressional inquiries, the IRS now claims that, for the period of January 2009 to April 2011, all e-mails between Lois Lerner — the IRS official at the center of the scandal — and anyone outside the IRS were wiped out by a ‘computer crash.'” – National Review Online

Kay Hagan’s obsessive fear of the Koch’s and Democrat Dark Money isn’t her only slice of hypocrisy. As a mother of three, she’s now backed by Planned Parenthood — the national provider of abortions which received taxpayer funds. Planned Parenthood has launched a campaign tailored for her.
