A La Grange Elementary School teacher has been charged with assaulting a child at her school.
On Friday, March 8, the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a potential assault that occurred between Crystal Taylor, a second-grade teacher at the school, and a student. The LCSO has charged Taylor, 53, from Kinston, with one count of assault on a child under 12.
The incident was reported by school administration, who immediately suspended Taylor. She was charged by the LCSO following the investigation by deputies.
