Records show Bradley was released on April 10 with the notes “unsupervised custody” with “electronic monitoring” on the release record.

At his hearing this week, he was instructed to have no contact with the victim, not be around anyone under 18 without an adult present or the consent of parents, stay off of school properties, and not use social media.

According to the Craven County Sheriff’s Office, Bradley last worked as a deputy on March 24. He had been a deputy for a little over two years and he was fired on March 25.

According to various reports, the NC State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) took over the case following the firing. An investigation was launched by the SBI and the local district attorney which resulted in Bradley’s arrest.

A spokesperson for the Craven Sheriff’s Office indicated the alleged crimes involved a 16-year-old victim and occurred while Bradley was an SRO at New Bern High School.

Craven County Schools has not yet issued a statement.
