Durham Rulings Pave Way For Property Destruction in Chapel Hill (Updated)

Apparently, leading by example at UNC-Chapel Hill means extortion through the threat of destroying public property.

Allegedly,  17 senior faculty members at UNC-CH sent an anonymous letter to the student newspaper, the Daily Tarheel, demanding Silent Sam be taken down or else they would do it themselves.

According to the Daily Tarheel, the letter says these 17 senior faculty members aren’t scared of arrest. Duh, of course not. They can “Do it like Durham” and get away with it.

We do not fear arrest, indeed we welcome the opportunity to demonstrate the commitment that the Carolina faculty has to the well-being of its students and the principles that make this university great.”

Yes, using the threat of committing a crime to get your way on a social justice warrior checklist make the university great.

Your child can enjoy these “principles that make this university great” for the bargain price $25,876 for NC resident kids and $53,100 for out-of-state kids per year.

Three reminders:

Judge Battaglia and the Durham DA set a dangerous precedent.

I told you so.

The UNC-CH KKK hoax was a means to an end.

UPDATE:  Extortion works.
