Shocker: Occupy Monday Promoting Fast Food Strike

Moral Monday is promoting a Fast Food Worker strike over the minimum wage today at noon? Gee, they’ve never done that before. Oh wait, yes they have:

Hey, didn’t Kay Hagan repeat a lot of this business about $7.25 an hour last night at the debate? Why yes… Yes she did. Moral Monday Kay has a nice ring to it.

Fast food workers across North Carolina and the nation are going on strike for a living wage of $15 an hour and union rights. The Forward Together Moral Movement stands with them. Rev. Dr. Barber will speak alongside fast food workers at the 12:00 pm rally in Durham. Join us!

Strike rallies will be going on across the state. Locations are listed below:

Charlotte: 7:00 am | 1201 W. Sugar Creek,

Raleigh: 8:30 am | 3301 S. Wilmington St.

Durham: 12:00 pm | 501 Foster St.

Fast food workers are an important part of the Forward Together and Moral Monday movement.
