I think that Kay is vulnerable on another issue. My experience with her staff vis. constituent services has been AWFUL. As in, it sounds like I’ve reached the office of the local college Democrats — zingers, talking points, no follow ups, no subject matter experts, etc. I come from a state where the GOP guy was voted out in part due to this issue, and replaced by a “sock puppet” Dem lady who provides excellent services. The latter has been re-elected twice, and the GOP hasn’t bothered to put much into those elections.
