So, #ShutUppery took an ugly turn and this happened to me:
Who’s a ‘Bully,’ @GregFlynn? Democrat Operative Targets North Carolina Mom: The Other McCain
North Carolina Democrats have apparently adopted the radical motto “By Any Means Necessary” in their war to destroy conservative opposition, as the intimidation tactics employed by Democrat operative Greg Flynn against a citizen-activist make clear:
Lady Liberty is a blogger, but she is also a mother worried about her children. Greg Flynn (an editor at the left-wing blog BlueNC.com, a former employee of the state department of education and a Democrat Party activist) apparently decided that identifying Lady Liberty by name would be a good way to shut her up, exposing her family to harassment from his radical Democrat allies. Every conservative in North Carolina — no, by God, every conservative in America — should be mad as hell about Greg Flynn‘s vicious intimidation tactics.
You read that right. This man published my name on Twitter — a name which nowhere is associated with this blog and nor has it ever been. Ever. He, and his pals @MovingNCForward & company had to DIG to find me. They had to have someone ID a picture of me, then perform a dox. All of this was done with the express purpose to intimidate me and therefore get me to shut up.
SPIN TIME!
Mr. Flynn immediately tries to spin his exposing of my name into an insinuation I’ve led an attack on children. I’ve never attacked a child. To the contrary, I’ve pointed out the disgusting and shameful practice of using kids as props at political rallies. That’s defending children, not attacking Mr. Flynn. Let me be clear, I am unrepentant on this topic: Kids do not belong at political rallies like Moral Mondays.
Mr. Flynn and @MovingNCForward took it upon themselves to point out what they perceive as hypocrisy on my part. I brought my kids to a Common Core event at the Legislature. The event we attended was organized by FreedomWorks. Those who attended had appointments with legislators to discuss Common Core. It was calm, orderly and involved no arrests, unlike Moral Mondays. This was not a political protest. This was my reply to Mr. Flynn and his apples to wrenches comparison:

Backstory
Over the course of the last 4-5 months, I’ve been the target of a self-styled group of “democratic recruiters”. I’ve been personally attacked for having a different opinion than they hold, insulted more times than I can count and then they started trying to dox me. The bulk of these activities came out of Twitter user @MovingNCForward; this is the face of the “democratic recruiting” group led by @JeanneBonds4NC. In their first attempt to dox me, they got it wrong and named an innocent person. Read more backstory here.

Indeed. I’ve done nothing wrong but to have a different opinion and express it. The Left can’t counter my message, so they attack the messenger. Surely, there must be something wrong with someone who wishes to write under a pseudonym, right? Their hypocrisy knows no bounds.
In opting for a pen name, I sought to partition my writing from my personal life. These people want to make it personal. They want me on defense about myself instead of speaking out about the issues. The tactics employed against me, the vitriol and the insults all make the case for why I had sought that pen name in the first place.
How the Left Rolls
I have watched how the Left rolls: Target, Isolate, Attack and Destroy. In North Carolina, the Left Cripples, Eviscerates, Pressures, and Slams. It’s all about #ShutUppery. The Democrats and the Left lost a big in recent elections in North Carolina. Republicans took control of both houses, the Governor’s mansion and Lt. Governor’s seat. We also went for Romney in 2012. They’re hoppin’ mad, desperate and their tactics show it. Every personal attack they make highlights this.
Remember though, this is not about exposing me or anyone else. This is about their thug tactics to silence dissent. Expose THAT. Stick up for stay at home moms who should have the right to write what they want – Follow me on Twitter.

I’m done with these people. I have no interest in sinking to their level. They want it personal, I want it issue-driven. It’s that simple. Also, I’m a relatively boring stay at home mom but feel free to wage a #WarOnWomen who dare open their mouth. My only crime here is speaking out and not backing down. I’ve documented their stunts in detail in case I need to seek law enforcement aid and have blocked them in every way I can think of. I’m going to attempt to move on, but I’m not shutting up. Two choices for those out there who have been pulling this crap:
- Drop it and everyone gets back to their own lives.
- Keep making it personal and I ignore you anyway.
They played their big card on me and you know what? The world didn’t end in fact, the opposite — LIBERATION. So, continue to mock me, insult me and complain about me. Knock yourselves out but know that with each Tweet, attack or insult, you are giving me and my position more and more legitimacy. If I am taking this much flak, I am clearly over the target.
Sort of related, the planets must have been aligned or something yesterday. Not only was it Constitution Day, but Hating Breitbart was released on NetFlix Streaming. I’d seen clips at BlogCon, but not the full thing. When I logged off last night, I watched it. #War.

Wow, Ms. Nelson seems to have a few psychological issues of her own which might benefit from therapy.
Back in 2008 I was talking with my younger daughter in the car about politics and she told me I should run for President. Given that my political experience is just at the town level so obviously I’m not in a position to run for a national office, even if I wanted to, but all I could think was that there was no way I was going to run for a national level office until my children were all adults, having seen the way the Palin girls were treated by the left, right after everyone promising to leave the Obama girls alone. I know my girls would get the former treatment, since I’m not a raving Democrat loon.
I wonder how many other women have stayed out of the fray for precisely these reasons, that they are afraid of what some psycho who disagrees with them will do, especially since so many on the left seem to love inviting physical retaliation on the families of people they disagree with.

Oh, please. After years of slanging people on the internet while hiding behind a mask, someone rumbled you on your real identity. What did you expect? You’ve left tons of pics of yourself all over the web, and of course, someone was going to finally recognize you. Why not act like an adult, take responsibility for your own actions, and stop being a crybaby. And please, stop with the bizarre paranoia. First, let me say that I have seen better grammar from Rachel Jeantel. I am not sure where you learned how to butcher the English language but it must have been the “Common Core” program or some other Ebonics system. Second, if you want to threaten someone then you should just come out and do it. Don’t be a typical liberal puss bucket and dance around the drum circle. I will say that your use of logical fallacies are fairly good and so that raises your overall troll grade to about a C-. Last, I would just like to offer you an opportunity to threaten me. I too have been subject to constant harassment by greggy. Nearly every comment I post on the Policywatch blog he comes in with his one cent worth. I do get worried they are going to try to ID me as well….but I cannot help myself.
