A former school administrator has been arrested on sex charges related to a student for incidents that occurred a decade ago.

Jason Wesley Keller, age 42, is charged with 10 counts of sexual activity with a student by a teacher, school administrator, student teacher, coach or school safety officer.

The charge is a Class I Felony which carries a sentence of 3 to 12 months.

Keller was arrested at his home, was issued a $1 million secured bond and booked into the Davidson County Jail. His next court appearance is August 12 in Davidson County.

Keller was an assistant principal at Union Grove Christian School during the alleged incidents according to a press release by the Davidson County sheriff’s office.

According to the press release,  Keller had sex 10 times over a one-year period between August 2008 and May 2009 with a female high school student. That female student allegedly reported the incidents in 2009.

Detectives with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office were contacted on June 7 by the same victim who reported the alleged offenses in 2009. After an interview with the victim, who is now an adult, new information led to the filing of arrest warrants.

The state has no teaching license on file for Keller.
