Michael Fischer 5,019 (47.23%)
It was arguably close, but Pittman pulled it out.
Cabarrus Jobs Now wasn’t the only organization throwing money up against Pittman though. Another outfit, Cabarrus Patriot Alliance, spent some cash on the race too.
It appears that in early 2016, CJN paid over $64,000 for this attack ad on Pittman. It was $64,812 to be exact.
Cabarrus Jobs Now received three checks from January to February 2016 from Cabarrus Patriot Alliance that totaled $98,000.
Overall, it looks like over $150,000 was spent trying to take down Pittman.
Both CJN and CPA are creations of Frank Rankin, according to the NC Secretary of State.
