NC’s Common Core Bill Heads To Governor McCrory

North Carolina’s Legislature has just passed SB 812 to remove and replace Common Core.  The House just voted to concur with the Senate and the bill now will head to Governor McCrory. The vote was 71-34.

Please, take a moment to thank those Senators and Representatives who have listened to the voters, parents, students and teachers. These legislators performed an important service to our state by passing this bill.

Check back HERE for a Storify article of the tweets I posted as the debate happened today in the House.
