Laughing at Liberals has this video out of Portland, where a crowd disrupted a school board meeting with loud chanting that evolved into the Occupy mic-check style chants:

Portland Public Schools board meeting is interrupted by hundreds of unions/socialist/communist activists, who were demanding, uhh, well, I think they were demanding higher wages for the teachers. Sort of hard to tell with all the random chanting and shouting. The board members are forced to flee from the meeting, leaving the commies to continue their chanting and shouting.

I suppose the one saving grace is that they appear to be opposed to Common Core, so we can take some solace in that.

In the end, Laughing At Liberals gets in a quick quip at board member Bobbie Regan…

Teachers and union folks opposing Common Core openly? Must be they wised up and realized that the cost of Common Core was going to fall on taxpayers, which in turn will have to come from already strapped education budgets. Salaries likely would see the pinch and that translates to lost dues….
