A few days ago I covered a new app put out by 2nd Vote that helps consumers decide where they want to spend or not spend their money based on the dollars companies spend on a host of issues. 2nd Vote has just rolled out the Education issues part of their app.
Press Release:
2nd Vote Releases New Issue: Education
2nd Vote, a conservative organization dedicated to connecting public policy and corporate activism, has added Education as a new issue just in time for the school year. The new scores can be found on the 2nd Vote app and website.
“We are continually looking for ways to provide consumers with the information they need to make conservative shopping choices,” said Chris Walker, Executive Director of 2nd Vote. “By adding education, 2nd Vote users can see the stance of several companies on issues that concern parents such as Common Core and school choice.”
Companies such as General Electric, AT&T, State Farm, IBM and even Taco Bell have all supported Common Core. The 2nd Vote app works on a one-to-five scale, five meaning the company leans overwhelmingly conservative and one meaning the company leans overwhelmingly liberal.
