Two Rutherford County Public Schools instructors have been suspending pending an investigation into misconduct allegations.

Eric Currington and Chris Brown are both being investigated for misconduct, Both are Marine-JROTC instructors at R-S Central High School and have been suspended.

Rutherford County Schools has indicated that they are coordinating with local law enforcement in an on-going investigation into allegations involving Brown and Currington. State law prohibits the district from detailing the nature of the allegations.

Major Chris Brown is still listed on the R-S High School website as a JROTC Instructor, however, Currington is not.
