More Davids Rise To Fight Common Core

Meet the Common Core Four in New Jersey. More Davids fighting the Goliath that is Common Core.  Via Cape May County Herald:

NORTH WILDWOOD – Concerned Citizens of Southern New Jersey is a dedicated group committed to eradicating the controversial national educational program known as the Common Core.

Led by Janice Lenox, the group is comprised of members Deb Yoa, Michelle Mellon and Lynne Shirk. “Our goal is to rescind Common Core completely,” explained Lenox. “Our goal is to get our legislation passed. In June 2013, state Sen. Jeff Van Drew (D-1st) sponsored legislation for us. We wrote legislation and took it to him – we told Van Drew what we wanted.”

Money quote, emphasis added:

“We want the public and the parents to know that Common Core was adopted before it was evaluated – it was signed off on because they received money,” explained Lenox. “We want to get our bill passed… we’re not going away.”

YES, ladies. Yes. Keep fighting. If North Carolina can do it, so can you. You have to keep that foot on the gas pedal and don’t let up.
