#NCSEN: Hagan Gets Primary Challenger

Kay Hagan is getting a primary challenger: Will Stewart

U.S. Sen. Kay Hagan, a Democrat, may face a challenge within her party.

Will Stewart, 31, a Pender County resident who runs Will’s Computer Service, has filed a statement of candidacy with the Federal Election Commission to lay the foundation to run as a Democrat for the U.S. Senate. Stewart said Tuesday in a telephone interview that he is “100 percent serious” about running. – Journal Now

Money quote:

“Nobody in the Democratic Party was going to run because they’re playing politics. They don’t want to lose the seat. I think people are ready for someone to go there and tell it like they see it,” he said.

Popcorn time.

Where do I contribute to Will? Seems to me that that is the best use of my limited campaign budget this year. I hereby declare my intent to contribute to Will if he makes one promise — that his staff will return my phone calls and help me with my issues concerning Obamacare. Cause right now, Kay’s staff has been totally useless — one suggested “Call the IRS” and another “Call the White House.”
