Today I was reminded of  this phrase my mom used to use:

“When you feel like you’re being run out of town, get out in front of the crowd and make it look like a parade.”

I think Bill Gates is trying to make Common Core look like a parade, but it’s failing in an epic fashion. Behold, Mr. Gates’ mad hyperbole skills:

“Bill Gates says education reform is tougher than eradicating polio, malaria or tuberculosis“

So, Mr. Gates… are you comparing opposition to Common Core a deadly disease that needs wiping out?
