Another Day, Another N&O Shill Piece. You can set your watch by it.
Wow, Shill much? MT @newsobserver Editorial: Tillis is wrong and vague about NC’s minimum wage- http://t.co/dBLfy28IJC #NCpol #RaiseTheWage
— LL1885 – A.P. Dillon (@LadyLiberty1885) September 16, 2014
Love that hashtag – #RaiseTheWage. All the cool union front groups fomenting ire and leading strikes in order to pad their waning member ranks are using it.
Did someone say Union?

‘Average Teacher’ In Hagan Ad Tied To BluePrintNC
In the NC Senate race, Kay Hagan has decided to use a ‘war on schools’ theme for her attacks on Thom Tillis. The NEA advocacy fund has an ad out which leads with a Chapel Hill teacher named Vivian Connell.
The ad portrays her as just some average teacher from North Carolina. She’s not.

Hagan’s Contraception Talking Point Is A Dud
In the first debate against Speaker Thom Tillis, Senator Kay Hagan took the “War On Women” route. Hagan continued to repeat Tillis was for banning birth control as well as her willful misrepresentation the Hobby Lobby decision being about birth control, which it wasn’t. Flashback from Sister Toldjah: Senate Dems, including @KayHagan, set to try & “reverse” #HobbyLobby ruling
That decision wasn’t about BC. Why do you hate religious freedom? #ncsen MT @kayhagan: Speaker Tillis supports #HobbyLobby decision …

Why does Kay Hagan hate religious freedom? => Hagan Co-Sponsors Bill to Reverse Hobby Lobby Ruling http://t.co/8x0yIartIs #ncsen #firehagan — LL1885 – A.P. Dillon (@LadyLiberty1885) July 20, 2014
The war on women/contraception attack flopped, as Tillis stuck a stick in the wheels of her talking point bike by stating he feels oral contraception should be made available over the counter. Hagan had no come back for this. In fact, Democrats are so freaked out by this move they’ve become more shrill and launched five-figure ad buys.
Check out this excerpt from Liberal TIME magazine below. Emphasis is mine.

Hagan To Charlotte Observer, TWC News On Debate: No Thanks.
Kay Hagan has declined to participate in a debate being put on by the Charlotte Observer, the News and Observer and Time Warner Cable News. Time Warner Cable News in Charlotte had this tidbit from Hagan’s Campaign manager:
Her campaign communications director, Sadie Weiner, said in a statement: “…The series of three debates is already more than Speaker Tillis originally agreed to during his primary and more than Senator Dole did in 2008. The first debate has already taken place, and we look forward to the next debate opportunity for the two candidates to compare their records for voters. ”

First #NCsenDebate Roundup
The first of two debates between Thom Tillis and Kay Hagan took place last night. The debate was broadcast on WRAL. The next one is October 7th.
Incredulous is a great word for Kay Hagan, because I am incredulous watching her repeat debunked lies in a debate. #ncsen #ncsendebate
— LL1885 – A.P. Dillon (@LadyLiberty1885) September 3, 2014
Hagan’s rhetoric came across like a Moral Monday occupier who kept channeling Sandra Fluke while wearing Wendy Davis red sneakers. Tillis stood firm on states rights and corrected Hagan’s use of debunked Senate Majority PAC talking points about his record. Here’s the net-net of the debate via Twitter:

Kay Hagan Has A Middle Class Problem

We’re taking our fight for NC middle class families all the way through November. RT to share: http://t.co/FMBfD2xl6V #NCSEN

Hagan’s tweet timeline is littered with people calling out Hagan. The above is just one example. How about those 500,000 North Carolinians who lost their health insurance under Hagan? Was that fighting for the middle class? No. That was fighting for Obaam’s agenda.
Let’s expand on her “middle class” statement with some facts about what Democrats have done for the middle class, courtesy of the NRSC:

#DM7 Article: Dems Panic – Push $9 Mil Into NC Senate Race
This is a reposting of my weekly DaTechGuy Column: Dems Panic – Push $9 Mil Into NC Senate Race
By A.P. Dillon
Apparently, Senate Democrats have noticed that “nondescript, virtually unnoticed, hugely important Senate race” in North Carolina and have hit the panic button. Scratch that, they are pounding on the panic button to the tune of $9 million dollars and a negative ad campaign blitz that will have fact checkers drooling. Will that money help? Time will tell, but it didn’t help Elizabeth Dole who outspent Hagan by $6 million in 2008 and lost by 8 points.
Jennifer Duffy of the Cook Political Report sees Hagan’s campaign having to go with negative with ads and this large of a money dump points to a candidate in trouble. Continue reading
