Disclaimer/Preface:
I receive regular emails from my financial group. I didn’t see a disclaimer on reproducing or passing the information they send me along, however I may have to remove this post should a request of such nature materialize. I felt it interesting and important to share with my readers to get a perspective on what the financial outfits are thinking about the election and its possible outcomes.
I have removed the personal information from it as well as which firm provided it to me for privacy reasons. Continue reading

ABC Attempts To Fabricate A Flip-Flop
Headline:
Mitt Romney ‘Not Getting Rid of All of Health Care Reform’
Opening paragraphs:
“Mitt Romney raised some eyebrows today when he said, “I’m not getting rid of all of healthcare reform.”
That sounded quite different from the mantra he has repeated for months, that he would “repeal Obamacare.”
Though the Romney campaign quickly said there has been no change in position, it’s clear that despite the rhetoric, the Republican nominee would keep some of the popular elements of President Obama’s healthcare reform act.
“Well, I’m not getting rid of all of healthcare reform,” Romney said in an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
“Of course there are a number of things that I like in healthcare reform that I’m going to put in place,” he said. “One is to make sure that those with pre-existing conditions can get coverage.””
Hey ABC, check with Andrea Mitchell on how to perpetrate a fraud next time.
Without batting an eye, ABC attempts to make this into a flip-flop, ignoring that Romney has stated the above since the very beginning of his campaign. Romney’s statements here in no way mean he is not going to stick to his promise to repeal Obamacare. That was hit one in the article, the next part was to highlight the vouchers proposed by Paul Ryan:
“Their voucher plan for Medicare would bankrupt Medicare,” Obama later told the 3,000 supporters who attended the rally.
Hey, ummm.. ABC? That’s Obama repeating the lie from his acceptance speech, “And I will — I will never turn Medicare into a voucher.” About two days after his speech, this happened:
Surprise! HHS pilot program to send 2 million poor seniors from Medicare into … “voucher” programs
Ouch. Yeah…Nice try, ABC. Next time, get tips on perpetrating a fraud from Andrea Mitchell. Oh and pro-tip: Don’t cite a full leftist group like Center for American Progress as the source for your horror show figure on costs. Definitely don’t leave off their full title either, which is Center for American Progress ACTION FUND. I laugh at their “About Us” page every time a media lapdog like ABC links to them. Whoever wrote it needs to look up the definitions of Non-Partisan, Independent and Progressive:
The Center for American Progress Action Fund is an independent nonpartisan education and advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of Americans through ideas and action. We are creating a long-term, progressive vision for America—a vision that policymakers, thought-leaders, and activists can use to shape the national debate and pass laws that make a difference.
Our mission is to transform progressive ideas into policy through rapid response communications, legislative action, grassroots organizing and advocacy, and partnerships with other progressive leaders throughout the country and the world.
The president of The Center for American Progress Action Fund is Tom Perriello.
What We Believe
As progressives we believe that America should be a country of boundless opportunity—where all people can better themselves through education, hard work, and the freedom to pursue their dreams. We believe this will only be achieved with an open and effective government that champions the common good over narrow self-interest, harnesses the strength of our diversity, and secures the rights and safety of its people.

“The President’s Utility” (videos)
The Obama administration is all about the government controlling the pulse points that allow our people to live and our country to run.
From the NY Times, committing a random act of journalism:
WASHINGTON — Early in the Obama administration, a lobbyist for the Illinois-based energy producer Exelon Corporation proudly called it “the president’s utility.” And it was not just because it delivers power to Barack Obama’s Hyde Park neighborhood in Chicago.

ZOMG!!! MEDICARE!!!
Over at NiceDeb, I found this cartoon by Ramirez from Investors Business Daily:
That cartoon is spot on. Nice find Deb! She also has the RNC ad on the same topic titled “Achievement”. Also, see this video of Paul Ryan talking about the $716 billion.
Fact: Obama did raid Medicare to the tune of $716 Billion to pay for his precious nation killing tax commonly known as Obamacare. This is Obama’s M.O. — stealing from one program to pay for another; just like he short-changed Social Security and raided food stamps for his wife’s program “Let’s Move”.
The Left will fight that fact and outright lie about it, just like Juan Williams tried to, but Charles Krauthammer didn’t let him get away with it:

FLASHBACK: Is Harrisburg’s Nightmare America’s Future?
Reason TV:
VIDEO
The city of Harrisburg is Ground Zero for America’s municipal debt crisis.
Pennsylvania’s capital city has liabilities estimated at $610 million, which is nearly ten times its annual budget. The city is so deep in the red that last year it attempted to file for bankruptcy. Reckless spending did more than ruin Harrisburg’s balance sheet; it crowded out private industry and distracted from the city’s core functions. Today, Harrisburg is a dangerous, poverty-stricken city, with failing schools and a shrinking population.
Harrisburg’s fiscal nightmare may be a harbinger of things to come for American cities. In the mid-90s, local governments embarked on a spending binge, bringing total municipal debt in the United States to more than $2.8 trillion. Along with Harrisburg, Jefferson County, Alabama, Vallejo, California, and Central Falls, Rhode Island have filed for bankruptcy in the past few years. Several more cities are on the brink of default, largely thanks to taxpayer-financed stadiums, museums, housing, commercial complexes, other misconceived economic development projects, and runaway public sector salaries, pensions, and benefit packages.
Is your hometown the next Harrisburg?
