In my inbox this morning from a reader:
I attempted to go to the site and was sent to a “website not found” type redirect from my provider instead of to the United States Sentencing Commission.
It would appear that Anonymous has indeed hacked the site according to a post I found at The Inquisitor:
Anonymous has hacked the US Sentencing Commission’s website in retaliation for the suicide of internet activist and Reddit co-founder Aaron Swartz, and as of now, the site is still displaying in its compromised state.
There is also a fairly lengthy note from Anonymous published there which refers to engaging ‘Operation Last Resort’. They have this video as well:
