The Democrats War On Women
As you read this post, bear in mind that Obama fired the first shot with his HHS mandate to Religious employers and institutions forcing them to provide contraception against their Conscience and violating the First Amendment to do it. This was a calculated move as it has set in motion the Democrats war on women… for their own good, of course.
Then it was an intentional misdirection on contraception, “The Republicans want to ban my birth control!” Just ignore that no one has said that, except for the Democrats blasting it out in every email, press conference and interview. The Democrats opened this empty can of worms and have filled it to the brim with disingenuous and purposefully inflammatory rhetoric. They’ve even wailed there are no women involved in these decisions. Where are the women!? Well here they are. Oh and here too. You can count me in as well.
Now it’s a phony claim that a transvaginal ultrasound is mandated by a recent VA abortion law. That is patently false and the incredible hyperbole being used to decry it is that it is rape. These are outrageous claims that have the lone purpose of perpetuating keeping the focus on social issues in order to obfuscate the condition of our country, the mounting scandals of this administration and the woefully awful job Obama has done President. Dana Loesch summarizes in a much more civil manner what I am thinking in my head right now:
Transvaginal ultrasounds are also not anything close to what a woman endures undergoing an abortion when a vacuum (or forceps) is inserted into the vagina and a live baby dismembered and sucked out through the hose.
Sorry, was that graphic? I didn’t mean to interrupt progressive’s romanticization of infanticide.
That piece also has several very important links – the VA law itself and to Planned Parenthood, who by the way also uses transvaginal ultrasounds. Imagine that. SisterToldjah has more on the Planned Parenthood part of the story and I recommend checking it out.
This is a manufactured set of crises. The Democrats are reviving the mantra “Republican war on women” one issue at a time. In doing so, they keep the conversation going with the spotlight on the GOP instead of on Obama. This administration loves its shiny objects to distract the public with. My answer to those posting these topics on Facebook and other places is to respond with things like,
“I just paid $3.74 a gallon, how about you?”
“That payroll taxcut – the $40 we now get a month because of Obama? Well it didn’t even fill my tank.”
“How’s that Arab spring workin’ out for ya?”
“The 2013 budget underestimates the deficit by 138%. Imagine that.”
“Some school official just groped my kid’s lunch!”
“There’s been a 45% jump in number of food stamp recipients since Obama took office.”
“That Obamacare is awesome… at driving health insurance costs up 23%!”
“I just love that the unemployment rate is hovering at 8.5%, but it’s really closer to 15% when you factor in all the people who have just stopped looking all together!”
You can use one of these handy comebacks or you can just not say anything at all since a picture says a thousand words:

I couldn’t say it better myself. I wish all voters would read this. Naturally, this will not be reported in the media.
