Dear Capital One

You can take your business elsewhere, just like you can vote out politicians. An act people are often to lazy or undisciplined to do. Not this Lady.  Here is a copy of a letter I sent to Capital One today:

Dear Capital One,
Please forward this to the decision makers and/or legal department who handle complaints regarding your public spokespersons and figures.

I wish to lodge a complaint about your spokesman, Alex Baldwin. Over the course of the last two months, he has made various statements of a rather offensive nature towards media personality Michelle Malkin and also disparaging remarks about the Late President Reagan.  He has also been noted to be associating with the Occupy Wall Street movement — a group which has proven to be rather unsavory at best. I also find his race baiting to be distasteful. Did you people do ANY due diligence on this guy?

I have provided links to stories below, but you need to do your own homework.–week-supporting-Occupy-Wall-Street.html

There is always the gem of him screaming on Conan to stone Henry Hyde and kill his kids.  Perhaps you should check out his long history of rather rude and disgusting tweets?  This one in particular might interest you (attached), the text of which is “America has lost her way. We have allowed business, advertising, banks to define us.” The link is here.

It’s worth noting he has blocked me on twitter for calling him out on his behavior. Perhaps it is time you did.

If this is your idea of a corporate spokesperson, do not expect to obtain my business or that of anyone I pass this information on to.

  2. Not a Capital One card. I carry a debit card from my local credit union. 😀
