Obama: I’m going to take this to the American People! Neener, Neener, Neeeeeeener!
Yeah.. and? We’re sick of your spending and lack of any sort of coherent plan on anything. You bring this ‘to the American people’ and we’re going to spank you, Mr. President. GROW UP.
Obama ‘abruptly walked out’ on debt negotiations last night in what could be considered a Presidential temper tantrum. He probably thought he looked like some kind of tough guy – uh, nope. He pretty much flipped out much the way a little kid would in threatening to go ‘tell mom’ on whomever was bothering him: “Before walking out of the room, Cantor said, the president told him: “Eric, don’t call my bluff. I’m going to the American people with this.” He then “shoved back” and said “I’ll see you tomorrow.” More here, here, here and here.
The Lady’s take? The President acted like the spoiled elitist child he is when confronted with people who are not in the business of shining his backside with kisses and stroking his ‘great intellect’. He’s desperate, struggling, and his little glass castle is cracking on every side. He thinks he’s untouchable, smarter, funnier, ‘cooler’ and above everyone else in the room wherever he goes. Newsflash, Mr. Obama – you’re the bitter kid that gets picked last for kickball… still.
We’ve seen him strut off with a pole up his ass before, embarrassing the nation, with Bibi Netanyahu. Bibi saw him for what he was in that very instant and made Obama pay for it by hitting a home run in his own backyard. Before Bibi, he made a spectacle at the SOTU in ridiculing the Supreme Court. He’s taken shots at the GOP in a manner befitting a school bully at first behind the scenes but now increasingly out in the open with rhetoric and scare tactics to match. We all remember Obama inviting Paul Ryan to his news conference where he then used his Bully Pulpit to bash Ryan and his plan, abusing the fact Ryan couldn’t respond in that forum.
He’s done in one and he knows it. The American Public is no longer putting up with his tirades, flip-flops, complaining and fits of blaming everyone else. We’re demanding he actually do his job. So now, Mr. President – go eat your peas.
