Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely
Rep. Buerkle (R-NY) questions Attorney General Eric Holder during the full committee hearing “Fast & Furious: Management Failures at the Department of Justice” on February 2, 2012:
Stonewalling and egotistical grandstanding are the hallmarks of Eric Holder. He has lied to Congress under Oath, to the people of this country and the man thinks he is going to get away with it. He’s even bragged about it. Holder claims there was no attempt to coverup or attempt to hide details yet he insists he knew little about the operation. That’s a flat out lie. He knew about Gunwalker and Fast and Furious from the start:
He must go and at this point it should not be via a resignation, but to jail by way of Special Prosecutor. Equally, it is clear Obama knew about it and lied as well:
Just prior to the testimony yesterday, The Daily Caller broke the story that several Prosecutors at the DOJ took bribes from financial executives and that these prosecutors are still working at the DOJ with the blessing of Eric Holder.
Bottom line: This is the most corrupt DOJ in the history of this nation.
